300+ Local 2nd Graders Celebrate Orthodontic Health Month with the Sandy Smiles Team
We welcomed 304 local 2nd graders to our office for an engaging and educational experience focused on the importance of dental health. Through fun activities and interactive presentations, the kids learned about proper oral hygiene and the benefits of orthodontics. We were thrilled to inspire the next generation to take care of their smiles! Thank you to everyone who participated in making this event a success!
Give Kids A Smile Day 2024
We had the honor of providing a full day of FREE orthodontic exams to our pediatric community! In collaboration with DFS Dental and Bluewater Oral Surgery we saw over 200 patients in attendance. We are so proud to work alongside such an altruistic group of dental professionals who believe in the gift of giving. All the precious smiles were truly contagious and a great reminder of why we do what we do!
Inspiring Young Minds
We had a wonderful day at Elliott Point Elementary School! Our team had the pleasure of engaging with second graders, sparking their curiosity about careers in dentistry, particularly orthodontics. In addition to lively discussions about oral health, we had the kids race to put on gloves and masks and we also showed them how to brush, floss and care for their teeth.

This week, Sandy Smiles had the opportunity to sponsor a Fort Walton Beach Dispatcher. Field Trips to Sandy Smiles Orthodontics
One of our favorite activies is hosting fun educational field trips to our practice. We happily open our doors to local schools and Boy/Girl Scout troops for enriching field trips that promote oral health and education. It was smiles all around when the 2nd graders stopped by to tour our Haunted Hallway - a Halloween favorite by many! We enjoyed a SPOOKTACTULAR day in the office making friends and learning about orthodontics!
